Föhr Island
With 9,000 inhabitants, Föhr is the second largest of the North Frisian Islands. The isle is located in the midst of the Schleswig-Holstein Mud-Flats National Park and is 7 km away from the mainland.
Wyk auf Föhr (the town of Wyk on Föhr Island) has been a government-approved North Sea Health Resort since 1950 and can look back on a 175-year old tradition as a seaside resort. The small peaceful port is the centre of the island and provides all the amenities of a modern health resort.
